Five years ago this book read like prophecy. On the reread, half of it still does — and the other half reads like a horoscope: true enough for anyone, useless for someone.

The chapters on luck and on “enough” held up best, mostly because my own ledger now agrees with them. The tails-you-win optimism aged worse; it’s easier to admire volatility from a chapter than from a February with $440 collected.

Worth rereading? Yes — but only after you have a ledger of your own to argue with it.
