This blog is my commonplace book, kept in public. I write three kinds of entries: experiences — trips, experiments, years I said yes too much; good reads — books worth pressing into someone’s hands; and making money — an honest ledger of earning, failed ideas included.

I don’t write advice. I write records — what happened, what it cost, what it paid — and let you draw your own conclusions. Most posts take under ten minutes to read and took considerably longer to live.
